Eirich wows audience at bauma, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery

In Munich, Eirich – the world’s leading manufacturer of machinery and production systems for the preparation of raw materials – demonstrated its innovative technologies and presented live events from inside a mixer. One new contract was already signed directly at the trade fair.
Hardheim, May 2025: From April 7–13, 2025, all eyes in the global construction machinery industry were once again focused on Munich. Exhibitors from the industry came together at the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery – known as “bauma” for short. In fact, it is the largest trade fair of any kind in the world. One of these exhibitors was Eirich, globally renowned for its mixing and preparation technology. In the Franconian town of Hardheim, mixers and machinery are produced for all types of cement-bonded building materials, ranging from all kinds of concrete to dry mortar, adhesive, and sand-lime bricks to ceramic products such as tiles, bricks, or roof tiles.
While the construction industry continues to face difficulties due to rising prices for energy and raw materials, increasingly stringent sustainability requirements, shortages of skilled workers, and growing digitalization pressures, Eirich is focusing on solutions that look toward the future. For many years the company has already been concentrating on the development of digital and energy-efficient technologies as a way to meet the challenges facing the industry. The innovations from Eirich are all about future topics – about protecting the environment through more efficient processes and about reducing CO2 footprints.
3D trade fair experience and sample analysis at the Eirich booth
In Munich, Eirich did not just rely on exhibiting its technology – instead, it stood out with a rather unusual concept for presenting its mixing solutions and control technology. The trade fair booth was transformed to a real experience under the motto “Gemeinsam besser Beton” (“Making better concrete together”). In the form of a virtual mixing show, visitors were able to experience the dynamic performance of the Eirich mixing principle up close – and they could even take selfies from inside the mixer.
On top of this, Eirich really did have something special to offer at this year’s bauma. Trade fair visitors were able to bring along their own samples up to a maximum size of 0.5 L, which were then optically analyzed at the event using new technology developed by Eirich – allowing potential customers to gain real, hands-on insight into the technology.
Digital Eirich solutions for sustainability and efficiency
The product line “Vision Control” expands the range of available solutions from Eirich in the field of digitalization and artificial intelligence. Here, AI-based cameras are used to monitor and fine-tune the production process, and through intelligent networking of the systems and machinery the production process can be made more efficient and more sustainable.
The Eirich “LogLizer” was also on show – a system for modern data analysis and data monitoring so that potential errors in the production process can be detected at an early stage to get to the bottom of specific issues or problems and deliver answers more quickly. In addition, visitors also had the opportunity to get to know the new, smaller, and more intelligent EL5 Laboratory Mixer at the trade fair stand, which is even easier to operate than its predecessor. By virtue of their design principle, all Eirich mixers offer improved efficiency with reduced energy consumption – two vital advantages for the construction materials industry particularly in times of rising energy and material costs.
Stephan Eirich, CEO of Eirich, was highly satisfied with how things went at the trade fair: “For us, bauma 2025 was a tremendous success. We had lots of valuable meetings and discussions, and our new trade fair concept was a real eye-catcher. It completely delivered the desired effect – we showed that we have the courage to try something new in terms of how we present our solutions, and it also underlined the innovative approach we adopt. The contract we signed with Plötner directly at the show is a strong signal, it demonstrates that our solutions really do have their finger on the pulse right now. After the trade fair we also continued intensive discussions with some new customer contacts we made – we expect to sign off on some more orders in the near future.”
